Artist's Comments

Portrait of a missing boy, inspired by the one-inch-square black and white photo printed on a disposable "Have you seen me?" flier.

Oil paint on canvas.

That's brilliant! But how did you apply the paint to the board to give it the texture?
:iconjohnpaulthornton:
painted with palette knife and sticks.
The painting size is 36 inches by 36 inches. I Had to paint a bit and then run away across the room to see how each application affected the whole.
