Portrait of a missing boy.

Inspired by his tiny printed image, found on a disposable flier.

Impossibly striking... I'm tempted to relate this to the sensation of drowning...

I longed for something to "grab onto" in terms of drawing. There was nothing...everything blurred, little shading...

I went around and around and added layers and layers. So much scraping and probing...

You always write amazing revelations to me.
I always "see" these through your insights.

Thanks.

Your work is so astonishingly beautiful. I always feel a sense of nature and down to earth sense whenever I look at them. A very down to earth sense in every peice. This one is no exeption.

Beautiful...and then some.

Thank you for telling me that.

I had really struggled with him, going over and over it.

There was no drawing to latch on to... just his features, and lost edges...

the drawing and shading looks really strange...but the textures and color is great, as usual :)

the first thing I "heard" was a music of Nino Rota (musics for Fellinis films) ; I can read a resigned but also a bit amazed expression, exactly as the "personnages" of Fellini. Something that walks farway, on tip toes.... My heart is getting smaller and smaller....

What you're doing with your art is very inspirational to me, keep it up.

Also I especially love the texture of this piece, I would love to see one of your works in real life.
