Portrait of a missing boy.

Inspired by the one-inch square black and white photo printed on a "Have You Seen me...?" mailer.

What is the proper way to paint a missing child?

Well since this isnt actually a vehicle for locating them but rather a way to respect and honor them then I think this is the way. ( :

I just got to reading your amazing offer in my note box...

Forgive my slow response. I have been trying to write every message a personal response. I will write you again ... via a personal note!

Sincerely, John Paul.

Haunting. The colors are so juicy.

Beautiful, like always.

Random question: What do you do with all of these paintings? If it was me, I'd feel too attached to sell them, but having 30 of these around the house would be depressing/creepy.

Your work never ceases to draw me in.
But this one, I don't know what it is, but it brought tears to my eyes. Probably the clear blue that I first saw in the eyes. The innocence that completely caught me off guard? The kind that I'm not used to whatsoever...?
It's really odd to me, yet incredibly beautiful too.

Fantastic and flawless job, as always.

EVERY time you post a new portrait, I swear. Sometimes I have to prepare myself before clicking the link, because I'm aware of the emotions that are hiding behind that one single click. I have never really been able to put a story of a missing child behind those insignificant 1 inch photos, as they don't do the situation ANY justice, but these vivid, colourful, emotional portraits completely change that. You're doing an amazing thing here, and I really hope you don't ever stop. You've got the passion inside that FLOWS through your art. Thank you so very much for sharing. Thanks a lot for opening a lot of eyes, too.

Wishing you the best!

The intensity of the colours are fascinating and bold. I love what you do, and these portraits that you paint are beautiful and so meaningful. Anything I could say about this has most likely already been said, and really you've already painted the point, so I won't say anymore, other than you did good. You did really good. :)
