Inspired by the blurred image printed on a disposable "Have you seen me?" mailer. What is the proper way to paint a missing child? How much technical showmanship? How much self-expression? Is it possible, in the silence of the studio, to hear and reach out to the actual child, in a far away unknown situation? |

do you decide the clarity in painting or do you react to the blurriness of the photo?
The softer missing children portraits I have posted on DA are getting more comments and response.
Maybe they evoke more empathy? Less harsh?
