This painting is beautiful. It's like someone's soul took a photograph in order to capture all the thoughts and feelings that a camera couldn't 
He has a confident and ambitious look about him. He looks like he has a plan, for his future or a career or something. It gives me hope for him, like he'll grow up and make something of himself, even though he's missing.
